Léo Breau, 69, of Memramcook East passed away on Friday, February 21, 1997 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Memramcook East, he was the son of late Maurice and Azile (LeBlanc) Breau.
 He was retired from the Department of Transport after 13 years. He attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East and was a member of Chevaliers de Colomb Memramcook East.
He is survived by his wife, Dorice (Melanson) Breau; one daughter, Gérène (Paul) Bourque of Fox Creek; two sisters, Anna (Late Jos) Breau of Memramcook, Doris (Late Freddie) Cormier of Lynn, Mass.; two brothers, Gérald (Jeannette) Breau of Memramcook, Léonce (Mélina) Breau of Memramcook; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Hectorine and Lily and one brother.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd, Memramcook, with Funeral Service to be held fromNotre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, with Father Paul Breau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
